Introduction to horseback riding in Corsica

This morning, after your first night in Corsica, you'll meet the rest of the group for a varied breakfast before heading to the stables around 9:00 AM. You'll be introduced to the horses and get ready . Your equestrian holiday begins with an introductory session in the arena . This session will allow you to get acquainted with your mount and find your balance. Lunch will be at the equestrian center or you can enjoy a picnic in the countryside. In the afternoon, you'll set off for your first ride out into the open. This is a chance to begin appreciating the Corsican landscape. Dinner and overnight stay at the equestrian center.

After breakfast, you'll meet your horse and prepare it with the help of the team. This morning, you have the option of another session in the arena or a longer trail ride. A great opportunity to continue building your confidence. Enjoy a lunch featuring local flavors at the equestrian center. This afternoon, you'll all head out for a ride through the Corsican maquis. Your outing will be punctuated by the fragrant aromas of the maquis. Return to the equestrian center in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the equestrian center.

Today we have a free day. We can choose to relax at the center or go to Corte. Several options are available: visiting the old town of Corte, its museum, going for a hike, swimming in the river, or taking the train to Ajaccio or Calvi.

We all meet at the center around 7pm to spend the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the equestrian center.

Today you're ready for a full-day ride through the heart of the Boziu region . In this pastoral area, you'll encounter flocks of sheep and goats roaming freely. The Boziu is unique in that it has preserved the tradition of polyphonic singing in a particularly vibrant way. Lunch will be at a family-run farm inn, where you'll receive a warm welcome. Afterwards, you'll remount your horse and continue your ride. You'll head to the equestrian center, arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner will be at the equestrian center, and you'll spend the night in a mobile home.

This morning, you prepare your horses for your last day in the saddle. Your route takes you to the hills overlooking the banks of the Tavignano River. You ride to a watering hole where you stop for a picnic. Weather permitting, a swim is possible . Then you prepare your horses to head back to the equestrian center. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon. You give your horses one last check-up before returning them to their paddocks. This evening, you have dinner together as a group for the last time . It's an opportunity to reflect on our progress since the beginning of the week and share experiences. Overnight stay in a mobile home at the equestrian center.

After your last night at the equestrian center, you'll wake up and have breakfast before departing. You'll leave the equestrian center around 9:30 am for Bastia airport (approximately a 1-hour journey). Plan for a return flight no earlier than 11:30 am.
