    In early spring, the days are still short, but the energy is there. You get acquainted before heading towards Mussy-sous-Dun. Under the listed 19th-century viaduct, built of stone for the railway, you meet up with the support team and enjoy a sheltered picnic. The route then follows the Mussy stream, which serves as a watering hole for the horses, before a gradual climb to 940 meters. At each clearing, the verdant hedgerows unfold. Along the way, you pass the Madonna of Verbin, then begin the descent towards La Musardière, a bed and breakfast on the banks of the Sornin River, housed in a former textile factory nicknamed "La Fabrique," once powered by the river's waters.

The Brionnais bocage where the establishment is located is between two landscapes, the plain on one side and the Douglas fir forests on the other, so we adapt the program in spring and summer for greater comfort of our horses and those who come to enjoy it.

It is a land of Charolais cattle breeding, rich in Romanesque history, old renovated buildings, beautiful stones and legends; both religious and inspired by the Middle Ages. Marked by the episodes of history that have shaped it.

The surrounding forests provide shelter from the wind, making the route accessible even in unsettled weather. In case of rain, picnics are enjoyed under cover. And if it's cold, a hot meal is provided to warm up.
