Horseback riding and camping on the Moroccan coast

Your day begins on horseback, traversing hills adorned with argan trees and cacti. You'll discover isolated houses and fields before crossing the Tizi pass, offering panoramic views of the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains and their first valleys. The descent takes you to the Berber village of Imiwadar, on the coast, where you'll enjoy your first canter on the beach. A picnic lunch is planned in Aghroud.

The afternoon is dedicated to crossing the Igui Oufrni plateau, dotted with several villages. This first stage concludes at the entrance to the Ait Ameur valley, marking the end of a day rich in discoveries and emotions.

The day begins with a walk along the valley to the mouth of the Tamri River. You then continue along the coast, through a landscape of sand dunes and pink sandstone cliffs, with the ocean stretching to the horizon. In the afternoon, to bypass the cliffs, you take a path climbing towards Assaka. You pass through more small villages before entering an argan forest. The day ends near the fishing village of Imessouane, where you can appreciate the tranquility and natural beauty of the area.

The day begins with breakfast followed by a visit to the fishing village. You then embark on a hike to reach the Legionnaires' Trail, located on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The panoramic view of the wild, rocky coastline is breathtaking. At the end of the day, you descend through the Tafdna dunes to a deserted beach. There, you experience the exhilaration of a gallop along the bay back to the fishing village. That night, you camp at the foot of the dunes, an ideal setting to conclude this day of adventure.

Your trek begins through fields and argan orchards, before passing through several small, typical villages. Late in the morning, you descend a track leading to the Marabout of Sidi Ahmed Saih, the site of your picnic lunch. In the afternoon, a short stage awaits, culminating in a gallop on Iftane beach. The bivouac is set up above the beach, facing the ocean, offering a magnificent view for the night.

The day begins with a foray inland, where you'll discover villages surrounded by cornfields. The picnic lunch takes place near the waterfalls of the Marabout of Sidi M'Barek, a peaceful setting for relaxation. In the afternoon, the ride continues towards the vast, deserted beaches, usually frequented only by seabirds. These expansive stretches of sand offer the opportunity for long gallops all the way to Sidi Kaouki, completing a day rich in scenery and unforgettable experiences.

The ride continues along a series of deserted beaches interspersed with small fishing villages, such as Taguenza. After crossing Cape Sim and its dune ridge, you arrive at the large beach before Essaouira, the final destination of your horseback riding adventure in Morocco. Essaouira welcomes you with its narrow streets, a legendary wind, and an intoxicating blend of fish, iodine, spices, and thuya wood aromas. After exploring this charming little port town, you will be transferred to Agadir.

The night will be spent in a hotel in Essaouira if your return flight is scheduled before 12pm the following day, or in Agadir if your flight is scheduled after 12pm.

After breakfast, you will say goodbye to your hosts and head to Agadir airport according to your return flight schedule. This day marks the end of your stay and the time to depart with unforgettable memories.
