Security

The safety of participants and the well-being of the horses are a priority throughout the stay. Activities are supervised and offered progressively, according to each participant's level. Instructions given by the staff must be followed at all times. The horses used are well-suited to working on the ranch, and practical exercises take place in a structured, safe, and professional environment.

Appropriate riding attire is required: comfortable trousers, closed riding boots (recommended), and protective gear depending on the activity. A helmet may be required or recommended depending on the duration of the activity.

    Participants are welcomed at the ranch in the morning, settled in, and given a presentation about the stay in a friendly atmosphere. After a time to meet the team and explore the grounds, it's time for a first introduction to the world of the ranch and the horses.

    The day begins with a gradual immersion including an introduction to the horses, raising awareness of the rider/horse relationship and discovering the ranch spirit.


    Participants then discover several iconic disciplines of western riding and ranch work, in a logic of initiation and discovery: first exercises around maneuverability, approach to barrel racing, pole bending, and discovery of the mountain trail.


    Lunch will be served on-site at the ranch in our saloon.


    The afternoon continues with an immersion in ranch life: an introduction to working with cattle, discovering cattle sorting according to the conditions and level of the participants, as well as various workshops around the western world, such as lasso handling or understanding daily life on a ranch.

    At the end of the day, free time to settle into accommodations and a free evening. Participants can enjoy the tranquility of the estate or explore the restaurants in Tourves.
