In a few words

Embark on a thrilling weekend horseback riding adventure in the heart of the Loire Valley. After a warm welcome and a night at the Moulin de Battereau , you'll set off on horseback, traversing diverse landscapes: forest paths, woodland trails, panoramic views of vineyards, and tranquil avenues along the banks of the Loire. Throughout the day, you'll enjoy the rhythm of the horse, the peace of nature, and relaxing breaks, including a shared country lunch. In the late afternoon, you'll experience a special moment setting up your royal bivouac in the fields of Château Gaillard : a crackling campfire, horses resting nearby, and a simple, welcoming, and truly unique atmosphere. The following morning, you'll explore the château on a guided tour before remounting for the final leg of your journey, gradually leading you back to Saint-Martin-le-Beau. Arthur
Arthur

Horses have been a part of Arthur's life since he was 2 years old and he passed his riding levels at the Anadé stables in Montlouis Sur Loire.

At 14, he immersed himself in the world of cooking and then pastry making.

At 16, he took a half-lease on Quebrada, a Friesian mare, with whom he escaped this sometimes oppressive world. He bought her two years later and learned the ropes with her on treks and bivouacs, first in Maisons-Laffitte and then in Normandy. Quebrada remains the heart and soul of the herd to this day.

Arthur then decided to take a break from cooking and train as an Equestrian Tourism Guide at the Haras de la Cense, where he learned to organize and lead rides while respecting the well-being of the horses and providing them with a suitable living environment. He graduated in 2020.

After several experiences as a guide, Arthur decided to create equestrian trips to share his passion, allowing everyone to discover horseback riding in a setting that respects the well-being of horses and to live a unique experience in the heart of nature.

He creates HORSE JOURNEY in 2025.

Agnès

She has an excellent level of riding skill . She spent her childhood and teenage holidays on horseback and with horses.

She is passionate about animal and plant care , which did not prevent her from graduating from the Normandy School of Management.

Agnès is in charge of transporting materials, equipment and consumables for breaks, meals and any bivouacs.

She also keeps a close eye on things in case of unforeseen events.
