Meet in Pralognan at 9:00 at the Bouquetins Parking lot.

We set off above Pralognan to ascend a valley at the foot of the Pointe du Dard. The climb is rapid, the path ascending into the well-known Cirque du Dard. We ascend between the Grand Marchet and Aiguille du Petit Arcellin cliffs. The route is equipped with cables to facilitate progress. We arrive at the Col du Grand Marchet, an ancient hanging glacial cirque. The view is magnificent, with stunning waterfalls cascading nearby. In case of bad weather, we will reach the Refuge de la Vallette via an easier path. The refuge sits beside a lake and near the summit of the Roc de la Vallette, one of Pralognan's largest cliffs at 600 meters high. It's a truly magical place, reminiscent of Yosemite.
