Begin your day with a visit to the church of Anzy-le-Duc, a jewel of Romanesque art dating back to the 11th century. Renowned for its remarkable architecture and exquisite sculptures, admire the capitals adorned with floral and animal motifs, as well as the tympanum depicting Christ in Majesty surrounded by the symbols of the Evangelists. This exceptional site of regional religious heritage offers an optional guided tour.
The trails of the Charmays forest will then lead you to the charming village of Semur-en-Brionnais, nestled in the heart of the verdant hills. Every cobbled street invites exploration, notably of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Hilaire, built in the 12th century and listed as a historical monument. This unique Romanesque church blends Cluniac influences with foreshadowings of Gothic architecture, enriching the artistic and spiritual heritage of the region.
Also explore the medieval castle of Semur-en-Brionnais. Perched on a hill, it offers a breathtaking panorama and tells the story of the region's medieval history through its towers and ramparts.
Continue your journey to the village of Iguerande, where the Romanesque church of Saint-Marcel, dating from the late 11th century, majestically overlooks the valley and its river. This church, one of the purest examples of Romanesque architecture in Burgundy, houses true artistic treasures waiting to be discovered.

First night: 1 night in guest rooms (one room with a double bed and one room with a double bed and a single bed) for 2 to 5 people with shared bathroom and/or 10-person gîte in the same location - vegetarian table d'hôte.

Second night: You will be welcomed in the South of Burgundy, in the heart of the Brionnaise countryside (48 km from Roanne and 23 km from Paray-le-Monial ).
This inn and guest rooms are located in the outbuildings of a former castle. We will have the pleasure of welcoming you to an authentic setting of exposed stone and beams, old terracotta tiles and a large fireplace.
This charming setting will immerse you in a relaxed atmosphere, where warmth and conviviality are guaranteed. At the inn, you can enjoy dishes prepared with local produce, largely sourced from the owners' farm and garden.

Third night: come and stay in the outbuildings, the grounds of a magnificent little castle typical of the region.
In the main wing of the castle, you'll find five bedrooms comprising the self-catering cottage, and five guest rooms in one of the restored outbuildings. In the shaded park and orchard, unique accommodations await you for a stay immersed in nature.
There you can admire the view over the Arconce valley and discover the typical landscape of this region, made up of meadows, stone walls, and hedgerows. It's a popular area for hikers, whether on a bike, on foot, or on foot.
