ROQUESALTES - MONTMÉJEAN: 12km (elevation gain/loss: +/-350m) Immerse yourself in the heart of the Causse Noir: cliffside paths, chaotic rock formations, and exceptional flora. The hamlet of Montméjean is being brought back to life thanks to the passion of volunteers.
PAS DE LA MULE - CANALETTES: 15km (elevation gain/loss: +/-300m) The coolness of the Durzon river and the shade of the forest make you forget the Larzac plateau. A hike combining ascent and walk at the foot of a mysterious karst network.
4 half-day hikes:
SAINT ALBAN: 6km / 2h30 (elevation gain: +/-350m) Departure for Mount Saint-Alban and its two humps, in the heart of a green countryside crossed by rivers and canals.
LARZAC, Highest point: 8km / 3h00 (elevation gain: +/-150m) From the Arnal family farm, set off across the Causse to the highest point of the Larzac with a view all the way to the Pyrenees.
LARZAC, 2500 years of history: 8km / 3h00 (elevation gain: +/-150m) Discover the struggle of the Larzac of yesterday and today between fortified farms, semi-troglodyte habitats, bushes, sinkholes and cisterns, places of struggle and renewal.
ROC NANTAIS: 9km / 3h00 (elevation gain: +/-400m) The loop begins with the ascent of Roc Nantais, a unique outcrop of the Causse Bégon, offering a view of the entire valley.
