Welcome to Bali, the Island of the Gods! You will be met at the airport by your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Seminyak to rest after your journey. Seminyak is a seaside resort located on the southwest coast of the island. Depending on your arrival time, take advantage of your free time to stretch your legs on the beach and gently immerse yourself in the Balinese spirit. You have arrived!Day 1 -
Off to the rice paddies and Java

This morning, you leave the Seminyak coastline and head north to the Belimbing region, renowned for its stunning terraced rice paddies. Accompanied by a local guide, enjoy a short hike through these idyllic, verdant landscapes and get your first glimpse of local agricultural life: clearing land, tending the rice paddies, transplanting seedlings, and harvesting the rice. With such breathtaking scenery, consider stopping for lunch at a small local restaurant (called a "warung") overlooking the rice paddies before continuing your journey north to your next destination. You'll arrive at the famous Brahma Vihara temple, the largest Buddhist temple on the island, which you can visit. Afterward, you'll continue your trip to the eastern tip of Java, crossing the strait by local ferry. Settle into Banyuwangi, overlooking the strait separating Java from Bali, right at the foot of tomorrow's treasure: Mount Ijen and its sulfur porters.Day 2 -

Early in the morning, or late at night (around 4 a.m.), you'll have a short transfer to the starting point of the Kawah Ijen hike to begin your ascent. You'll first climb a wide path through the forest, then a narrower trail to reach the top of the volcanic crater. As the first rays of sunlight begin to appear behind you, you'll ascend to the famous "green crater" and witness its colors at sunrise. Kawah Ijen is renowned for its acidic lake at 2,400 meters and its sulfur mining operations. You'll likely encounter several sulfur porters along the way. Conditions (volcanic activity) don't always allow access to the summit of Kawah Ijen, which is sometimes closed (and the descent into the crater is officially prohibited, despite attempts to circumvent the rules). In such cases, we'll offer you an alternative hike. On the return journey, you'll enjoy a stop at the beautiful Jagir waterfall for a refreshing swim after your exertions, before heading to the hotel for a shower and some well-deserved rest. After lunch, you'll take the ferry back to Bali, then continue on to Pemuteran, a small fishing village in northwest Bali, perched opposite Pemuteran Island, which you'll have the pleasure of visiting the following day.Day 3 -

This day is dedicated to discovering the diverse treasures of Bali Barat National Park (West Bali). This morning, you'll travel by vehicle to Labuhan Lalang port, where you'll board small boats bound for Menjangan Island, the "Deer Island," surrounded by stunning, well-preserved coral reefs. You'll explore several snorkeling spots around the island, depending on sea conditions. Enjoy a picnic lunch either on the boat or on the island, and you might even be lucky enough to spot the famous deer. After this wonderful day, return by boat to Bali, with the option of a final stroll to the Bukit Kursi viewpoint or returning to your hotel to relax after this adventure.Day 4 -

This morning, you leave the coast and head towards the mountainous region of Munduk (a 2-hour drive), first passing by the Pulaki temple, then the famous Banjar hot springs where you can relax like the locals. Upon arrival in the mountains, a local guide will be waiting to take you on a hike through stunning landscapes and to discover the region's rich plantations: cacao, coffee, vanilla, cloves, and mangosteens. You'll finish the hike below the village of Munduk and be welcomed into a family's home for a traditional Balinese lunch. A moment of sharing and exchange awaits. In the afternoon, you'll continue your exploration and walk through the village of Munduk and visit one of its many waterfalls. Late in the afternoon, you'll settle into your small hotel overlooking the plantations.Day 5 -
From sacred lakes to the summits of volcanoes

You'll set off in the morning, heading south to the Munduk Lakes region. On the shores of Lake Bratan, you'll stop to visit the famous floating temple of Ulun Danau. From there, you'll continue east along smaller roads to the village of Kintamani, near Mount Batur. This afternoon, you'll hike down into the caldera to get up close to the lava fields, including the most recent flow from the 2000s. It's a beautiful and easy hike through forests and cultivated fields, offering panoramic views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Afterwards, you'll head to your accommodation for the night before your climb the following day.Day 6 -
Ascent of Mount Batur and relaxation in the hot springs

Early in the morning, between approximately 4:00 and 9:00 AM, you'll set off with your headlamp and a local guide for the magical ascent of Mount Batur (1717 m). After a 1.5-2 hour hike, you'll reach the summit for sunrise. Before you, an exceptional view of the sea, the lake, and Mount Agung unfolds as the rays of "Mata Hari" (literally "the eye of the day") slowly warm you as it rises into the sky. A light snack will also be served to sustain you as you watch the dawn. After a walk along the summit ridges and a descent down its slopes, you'll enjoy a refreshing break in the hot springs at the foot of the volcano, overlooking the lake. You can also rent kayaks to explore the caldera lake and its tranquil waters. After these exciting experiences and a moment of rest, you'll head east towards the slopes of Mount Agung to visit Bali's largest temple: Besakih Temple. Next, you'll travel to the Sidemen region, one of Bali's most tranquil and verdant areas, filled with plantations, rice paddies, handicrafts, and small canals crisscrossed by streams. You'll check into your hotel.Day 7 -

Today, aprons on! You'll be bringing back some Indonesian recipes! Young and old alike will be in the kitchen for a cooking class, followed by a homemade lunch prepared by yourselves, of course. Afterwards, with a local guide, you'll take a walk through the surrounding plantations and finish with a visit to the village of Sidemen and its local crafts. This morning, you'll meet your driver to leave Sidemen and head towards the sacred region of Tampaksiring. There, you'll visit the famous cave mausoleum of Gunung Kawi and its 400 steps before exploring the sacred pools of Tirta Empul, used daily by the Balinese for purification rituals. In the afternoon, a new adventure awaits with a thrilling 2-hour (approximately) rafting trip that will take you closer to Ubud, the cultural and artistic capital where you'll be staying for the next two nights! Ubud: cycling and Namaste

This morning, the cycling team will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the starting point of your two-wheeled adventure! On the agenda: a beautiful 2-hour ride through rice paddies, past temples, villages, and plantations. There's no better way to appreciate the Balinese countryside! Afterward, you'll return to Ubud to fully immerse yourself in the Balinese atmosphere. You're in Bali's artistic capital, and also the epicenter of wellness... massages and serenity await! This afternoon is free; follow our recommendations for restaurants and points of interest in the village. We know where to find the best homemade coconut ice cream! Nusa Penida, the rocky island

This morning, you bid farewell to the city and head to Sanur harbor to catch a speedboat to Nusa Penida. Once on the island, you'll drive to explore its interior, beaches, and hidden coves. You'll visit the famous Kelingking viewpoint, where a short walk will take you to the bay facing the whale-shaped cliff. You can have lunch there at your leisure, or head to Crystal Bay where, as the name suggests, the crystal-clear water is perfect for snorkeling, which you can arrange on-site if you wish (not included). Finally, enjoy the beach before driving to your hotel where you'll spend the next two nights.Day 11 -
Nusa Penida: freedom

This morning is one of your last days of your trip, and you're completely free! Whether you want to enjoy the pool or spa at your hotel, rent a scooter to freely explore the island and discover its eastern side (more remote and less visited), go birdwatching with a local NGO, or organize a scuba diving or snorkeling trip to see the underwater world and perhaps spot manta rays, the choice is yours!
