For those wishing to hike for up to 6 hours a day and/or cover an elevation gain of 600 to 800 meters, both on and off-trail. High-altitude sections are possible. You engage in a sporting activity once a week, hike regularly, and are in very good physical condition.

The meeting point is at 10 a.m. at the Col de la Faucille to meet the group and have a pre-departure briefing with the guide. This first stage marks a gentle introduction to the trek through the heart of the Haut-Jura.
The route begins on a balcony trail, offering, depending on conditions, sweeping views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. The terrain, rolling but not technical, allows you to gradually find your rhythm.
A picnic break on the ridge offers a peaceful moment, ideal for observing chamois. The walk then continues with a descent towards Lélex, then into the Valserine valley, to the gîte where the night is spent.

After breakfast at the gîte, the route leaves the Valserine valley and climbs the opposite slope. The ascent is gradual until the Hautes-Combes, an iconic Jura landscape, alternating between open alpine meadows and peaceful forests.
This stage, shorter than the previous one, offers a more relaxed pace. Along the way, the hike crosses forested areas rich in biodiversity, providing an opportunity to identify some local tree species and, with a bit of luck, to observe signs of wildlife thanks to the guide's explanations.
In the late afternoon, we arrived at a secluded cottage, nestled at the bottom of a quiet valley. A simple and serene setting, ideal for enjoying a peaceful end to the day.

The day begins with an unusual experience: cani-hiking, led by Jérémy, a professional musher. Attached to a dog, you'll discover a different way of walking, more rhythmic and decidedly fun.
To fully enjoy the activity, luggage is transported by vehicle, allowing you to travel light throughout the morning.
Late in the morning, the route leads to the Lion's Boundary Stone, a remarkable viewpoint steeped in history. The guide takes this opportunity to share insights into this significant site in the historical delimitation of the territory.
In the afternoon, the hike continues without the dogs with the ascent of Crêt de Chalam, an iconic peak in the southern Jura Mountains. The steady climb opens onto a sweeping panorama offering a panoramic view of the entire massif. The adventure concludes in La Pesse, where a taxi awaits the group around 3:00 PM for the return trip to the vehicles (approximately a 35-minute journey).
