Here's a village you absolutely must visit: Montrésor! As charming as its name suggests, this delightful village will captivate you. Its medieval character and the banks of the Indrois River offer a bucolic setting for a visit! Not to mention the village legend, which is sure to amaze you! Be sure to visit its collegiate church as well.

Day trip with packed lunch to Céré la Ronde with its forest and the Château de Montpoupon - 8km

A historical interlude awaits you during your visit to the Céré la Ronde forest, with a guided tour of Montpoupon Castle (10km). One of our favorites among the hidden gems of Touraine! During your hike, castles and forest will surround you. Keep your eyes peeled; you'll spot some unusual dwellings.

Day trip between Loches and Beaulieu-lès-Loches, troglodyte alleyways, medieval town, picnic - 14km

Just 15 minutes from La Saulaie, hike through medieval alleyways, explore the royal city with its keep and royal residence, and discover troglodyte dwellings; you'll be captivated by the town of Loches. Enjoy a picnic lunch in an unusual setting, a little spot you'll undoubtedly love.

In the 3,000-hectare Loches state forest, immerse yourself in the rural atmosphere and green spaces, guided by our expert commentary. Learn about the challenges facing this forest. You'll pass by the Chartreuse du Liget and "Le Pas aux Ânes" (The Donkey's Footprint), home to unique flora and fauna.

An 8km hike in Amboise, between royal lands and wild waters. This royal town on the Loire River borders the river, and its castle overlooks the water. You will walk around the Île d'Or and pass by the Clos Lucé, Leonardo da Vinci's last residence.

Guided tour of the famous Château des Dames, Chenonceau, a jewel among the Loire Valley châteaux, followed by a packed lunch. In the afternoon, a 9km hike between the Cher River and vineyards, to conclude this wonderful day with a wine tasting at an independent winery.
