Excursion exploring the peaks and valleys of Sapa

At 9:00 AM, you will be met by your guide and taken to the nearby Fansipan cable car station. The Fansipan cable car holds the Guinness World Record for the longest cable car in the world. The ride up to the mountain station takes approximately 15 minutes, followed by a climb of about 600 steps to reach the summit. From the top, once the clouds clear, you will enjoy breathtaking views across the Sapa Valley and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Back in Sapa, your guide will show you around the town: visit the old Catholic church, the Sapa museum, or stroll through the lively local market.

There may be a wait for the Fansipan cable car, with queues often long on weekends and public holidays.

The summit of Fansipan can be colder than Sapa; please bring a warm jacket.

An additional charge applies if you wish to travel by train and book the Wow Pass – Platinum (return skip-the-line access, welcome drink, snack, tea and coffee at the Fansipan cable car arrival station).

From Sapa, transfer by vehicle to the starting point of the trek near Thanh Kim. You will then begin your walk along the trails at the foot of Silver Stone Mountain. Throughout the trek, you will enjoy spectacular views of the valleys and terraced rice paddies stretching below.

At midday, arrival at the village of Lech, inhabited by the Red Dao minority. You will visit the village and enjoy a local lunch in one of the village houses.

After lunch, you will continue your walk to a nearby Red Dao village. If it is a school day, you can visit the village school and meet the children, from the Red Dao or H'mong minorities, of different ages but sharing the same classroom. From the village, you will follow the hill trails to the main road, admiring the exceptional panoramas of scattered peaks, endless terraced rice paddies, and the beautiful Muong Bo River. Your vehicle will then be waiting for you on the main road for the return trip to Sapa.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll begin your return journey to Hanoi, a trip of approximately 6 to 7 hours with a break along the way. Leaving the tranquil mountains of Sapa behind, you'll descend through verdant valleys and terraced rice paddies, gradually transitioning from rural landscapes to bustling urban scenes. This route showcases the diverse scenery of Vietnam, from the serenity of the countryside to the vibrant streets of Hanoi, offering a striking contrast between the country's natural beauty and the dynamism of city life. As you approach the capital, you'll be immersed in its energetic atmosphere, punctuated by swarms of scooters and colonial architecture.
