All hikes are led by professional, certified, French-speaking guides trained in desert trekking. They carry first-aid kits and are experienced in managing emergency situations, ensuring your safety throughout the trek. In addition to guiding the hikes, they share their knowledge of local culture, history, and natural landscapes, making the trek both safe and enriching for all participants.

Management

Security

Your safety is our top priority throughout the trek. All certified trekking guides are highly qualified, equipped with first aid kits, and experienced in emergency management. Each certified guide is accompanied by a local guide who knows the terrain intimately and can lead the way. During the more remote sections of the trek, a donkey is available to carry water and assist tired trekkers. Although much of the trail is rugged and inaccessible to vehicles, jeep transfers can be arranged in an emergency to the nearest vehicle-accessible point. This combination of professional guiding, local expertise, and on-the-ground support ensures a safe and well-organized trekking experience.

Other supervisors

In addition to the main guides, you will be accompanied by local Bedouin guides and a camp team throughout the wilderness portion of the trek. They set up the tents, prepare meals, and manage the transfer of luggage to each campsite. The local guides have intimate knowledge of the desert terrain, ensuring safe navigation and providing insights into the natural environment and local traditions, making your camping experience both seamless and authentic.
