Boat to Naxos and then check-in at the hotel. Located in the town of Chora and its surroundings, long untouched by tourism, it retains its authenticity, particularly evident in its whitewashed houses, stretching from the shore to the rocky peaks crowned by the ruins of the ducal castle (the Kastro). Short bus transfer to Melanes, a glimpse of the Kouros statues, followed by a beautiful hike through the Naxos countryside towards Potamia and the castle, and then on to the charming, colorful village of Chalki. Depending on the time, there may be an opportunity to visit a Kitro factory (the famous Naxos citron liqueur) and a carpet weaver. Return to Chora for the night.Day 2 -

Transfer to the village of Filoti, built like an amphitheater and surrounded by mountains. Hike up Mount Zas, the highest peak in the Cyclades at 1,004 meters. According to mythology, Zeus spent his childhood on this mountain, hiding from his father Cronus, who devoured his children. Return to Filoti, then transfer to Chora for the night. Don't miss the spectacular sunset over the Portara of Apollo.Day 3 -

A visit to the town of Chora and its surroundings, long untouched by tourism and thus retaining its authenticity, particularly evident in its whitewashed houses. We stroll from the shore to the rocky peaks crowned by the ruins of the ducal castle, the Kastro. We then take a ferry to Amorgos aboard the first regular service to Amorgos and the Small Cyclades. Soon, we discover windmills perched on brown hills and breathtaking panoramas of the Aegean Sea, a sea of mystery steeped in fascinating myths. We check into our hotel and immediately begin exploring the island with a walk that takes us to Lagada. The charming village of Lagada and its surroundings have developed on the hillside of the Aegiali Plain. It combines remarkable hilly areas with a beautiful proximity to the sea, making it a popular destination for visitors. Lagada's architecture reflects the traditional style of the Cyclades. The village of Lagada has a network of narrow streets that connect every corner of the village to the main thoroughfare. Return to Aegiali.Day 4 -
AMORGOS - CHORA, THE MONASTERY OF CHOZOVIOTISSA AND AGIA ANNA

Ascend via old cobbled paths to the village of Chora, the island's capital, visit the village, then continue to the Chozoviotissa Monastery, a true architectural masterpiece and the setting for the film The Big Blue. Descend to Agia Anna beach and return by public bus to Katapola. The azure sea, the white chapels, and the view from the monastery make this hike one of the highlights of your trip.Day 5 -

From Aegiali, transfer to Lagada. Then, a mule track leads to the Monastery of Agios Ioannis and its magnificent frescoes, followed by a visit to the Church of Panagia Epanochoriani. A short, scenic path takes us to the small chapel of Stavros, offering a 360° view of the surrounding islands and the rugged coastline. Return to Aegiali via the village of Tholaria. Relax on the beautiful sandy beach before returning to the hotel.Day 6 -

This morning, bus to Katapola. A short coastal walk to the island's old lighthouse. You then take the ferry for the last crossing of your trip, to Piraeus. - High-top, water-resistant hiking boots (with a Gore-Tex type membrane) or low-cut or mid-cut hiking boots are recommended, but be careful, no sneakers for hiking! The terrain is often rocky/stony, so be sure to wear good shoes!
- Walking sandals, ideal for easy walks or relaxing in the evening.
- Synthetic socks.
- Synthetic trekking trousers for quick drying.
- 1 or 2 pairs of shorts.
- Breathable synthetic underwear in long and short sleeves. These prevent you from feeling wet during exercise and dry quickly.
- 1 fleece jacket: this has the advantage of being resistant, warm, light and quick-drying.
- 1 windproof mountain jacket. These jackets, equipped with a breathable-waterproof membrane (Gore-Tex or Omni-Dry for example), allow you to stay dry and protected from the wind in all conditions.
