This winter, head to the Hautes-Alpes, to Névache, where snow and sunshine are guaranteed! Just 20km from Briançon and the Italian border, 80km of trails await you for endless skiing. You can learn the basics of cross-country skiing, if needed, and then set off on days of exploration , following the river down to the valley floor and up to the high valley, passing from hamlet to hamlet. The more adventurous can even explore the hanging valleys like Bufère, Les Acles, or Granon on skis. Before dinner, you can relax in the wellness area : sauna, hammam, or hot tub are all available!

The Hotel l'Echaillon welcomes you with half-board or full-board options in Névache, in the Clarée Valley.

Nestled amidst terraces, forests, and valleys with accessible peaks, bordering the rushing Roubion stream, the hotel's location allows you to set off on your activities without a car. Just steps away, the Clarée, our river with its clear, pristine waters, invites you to peaceful, contemplative relaxation. And when the season is in full swing, the shuttle bus serving the upper valley is a 3-minute walk away.

In winter, we are very close to the start of the cross-country ski trails and the instructors' chalet.

  1. Arriving on the Italian side via the TGV Paris-Oulx, you will need to take a direct bus from the station to Briançon (€7.50). Tickets must be purchased 48 hours in advance of your trip on the SNCF website.
  2. Either Paris - Grenoble then bus Grenoble - Briançon line 55 ZOU (€24)
  3. Either Paris - Briançon, by night train or daytime trains

🚂 From Marseille or Valence : there are direct TER trains to Briançon.

🚗 From the south, you go up the Durance valley to reach Briançon.

🚗 From the north and west, you can, like cyclists, pass through the Lautaret pass and its spectacular panorama, or choose the comfort (and its price) of passing through Italy, thanks to the Fréjus Tunnel, a road replica of the ambitious railway project of the mid-18th century.
