Location The traditional 3-star Hotel Gurschler is located approximately 200 meters from the center of San Leonardo in Passiria. The center of Merano, always a perfect destination for an excursion, is approximately 20 km away. Access to the ski area is possible via the "Pfelders" ski lift, located approximately 15 km away. Ski buses stop approximately 200 meters from the hotel. Merano train station is approximately 22 km away. Amenities This comfortable hotel features a reception area, Wi-Fi access, a lounge, a breakfast room, a restaurant, and a bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski room. Parking is available on site, subject to availability. Wellness The wellness area is an invitation to relaxation. Here you will find a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin, a Turkish bath, and a sensory shower. You can also unwind in the relaxation room. The solarium is also a great place to unwind. High chairs and cots are available for children (upon request/subject to availability). The hotel also offers live music with the owner, a former winner of the Grand Prix de la Musique Populaire. From the bus stop, the hotel is about a 5-7 minute walk (approximately 400 meters). Note: The tourist tax paid locally includes the Südtirol Guest Pass, which allows free use of public transport in the region.
  2. By taxi: Allow approximately 25 to 30 minutes of travel time from Merano train station (between €45 and €65).

  1. From Paris (approximately 9.5 to 10.5 hours drive, ~950 km): Take the route via Switzerland (towards Zurich/Austria) or via Italy (A4 then the A22 Brenner motorway north). Join the Bolzano-Merano expressway (SS38) to Merano, then follow the SS44 (Val Passeia/Passeiertal road) to St. Leonhard.
  2. From Bolzano (nearest major Italian city, about 50 km, 45 minutes): Take the SS38 highway towards Merano, then take the SS44 road to St. Leonhard.
  3. From Innsbruck (nearest major Austrian city, about 80 to 100 km depending on the season, 1h30 to 1h45): In summer, it is possible to go through the Jaufenpass (SS44) or the Timmelsjoch pass; out of season, join the A22 motorway to the Bolzano/Merano exit and then go up the SS44.
