Location: The "Biobauernhof Vorderkasbichl" accommodation is a cozy farmhouse in a quiet location approximately 3 km from the center of Saalfelden. The ski area is accessible via the "Steinbergbahn" ski lift, located approximately 12.3 km away, or via the "zellamseeXpress" ski lift, approximately 13.2 km away. The "100° FREIZEIT ZELL AM SEE" indoor swimming pool is approximately 11.2 km away. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails approximately 1 km away. Ski buses stop approximately 750 m from the farmhouse. Saalfelden train station is approximately 2.6 km away.   1. By taxi: Taxis are available outside Saalfelden train station. The journey to the farm takes approximately 5 to 7 minutes (expect to pay around €12 to €18).
  2. By bus: Take regional bus line 260 or the local bus (Citybus line 63) from the train station to the Saalfelden Biberg stop (approximately 5 to 8 minutes journey, ticket costing approximately €2.50 to €3.50). From this stop, it's about a 10 to 12-minute walk (approximately 800 meters) along a small country road leading to the hamlet of Kehlbach.
  3. On foot: Allow approximately 40 to 45 minutes for the walk (approximately 3.5 km distance).

  3. Connection: The direct regional bus line 260 connects directly from Salzburg station to Saalfelden.
Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 9.5 to 10 hours driving time - ~960 km): Take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg, cross the German border, and follow the A8 motorway via Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, and Munich. Continue on the A8 towards Salzburg until the German exit for Siegsdorf/Inzell (B306/B312) towards Lofer (Austria). Then continue on the B311 national road to Saalfelden, and then turn south towards the Kehlbach area (Kehlbach 9).
  2. From Munich (approximately 2 to 2.25 hours by car - ~155 km): Take the A8 motorway towards Salzburg. Take the Siegsdorf/Inzell exit, continue on the B306 and B312 via Lofer, then follow the B311 to Saalfelden and turn off towards Kehlbach. (Note: If you arrive via the national route B306/B312 through Lofer without using the Austrian motorways, a motorway vignette is not required. However, winter equipment – ​​snow tires or chains – is legally mandatory in Austria from the beginning of November to mid-April).
