Location: The family-run Hotel Alpenland is a superior 3-star hotel located approximately 3.7 km from the center of Moso in Passiria, in the Stuls district. The ski area is accessible via the "Grünboden-Express" ski lift, approximately 15 km away. The cross-country ski trail network is also approximately 15 km away. A toboggan run is located about 15 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop approximately 100 m from the hotel. Amenities: The hotel features a reception area, Wi-Fi access, a library, a lounge, an elevator, a restaurant, a bar, and a wine cellar. Ski storage is available for your winter sports equipment. On-site parking is available, including covered parking and an electric vehicle charging station (at an additional cost) – subject to availability. The wellness area is an invitation to relax. It features a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a jacuzzi, an aromatic steam room, an infrared cabin, and hydrotherapy facilities. You can also unwind in the relaxation room and refresh yourself in the tea and water area. An indoor heated swimming pool is located within your accommodation. Beauty treatments and massages are available for an additional fee. Bathrobes and sauna towels are available for rent.

Transfer from Merano train station to the hotel:

  1. By bus: Take bus line 240 ( Südtirolmobil company) from Merano train station to the "Moos, Dorf" stop (approximately 50 minutes). Then change to local bus line 241 towards Stuls (approximately 10-15 minutes). Get off at the "Stuls, Dorf" or "Stuls, Kronhof" stop, both located a short walk from the hotel. The total fare is between €5 and €7 per person.
  2. By taxi: Allow approximately 35 to 40 minutes journey time from Merano for a fare between €70 and €90.

Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 10 to 10.5 hours by car, ~900 km): Take the route via Switzerland (A1/A3 then A13) or Austria. Once in Italy, head to Bolzano, take the MEBO highway to the Merano Süd exit, then follow the SS44 (Val Passiria / Passeiertal) towards St. Leonhard, then Moos in Passeier. Next, take the uphill road towards the hamlet of Stuls ( Stuller Straße ). (Note: In summer, the Timmelsjoch / Passo del Rombo pass provides direct access from Austria, but it is a toll road and closed in winter) .
  2. From Bolzano (approximately 55 minutes, ~60 km): Take the MEBO highway to Merano, then the SS44 road up the valley to Moos in Passeier and turn off towards Stuls.
  3. From Merano (approximately 35 minutes, ~31 km): Go up the SS44 crossing the Val Passiria to Moos, then follow the signs to Stuls.
