Location: The pleasant 2-star Mooserwirt hostel is located directly in the center of Moso in Passiria. Access to the ski area is possible via the ski lift located approximately 11 km away. The cross-country ski trail network is about 7 km away. The nearest shops are approximately 100 m away. Amenities: The accommodation features a reception area, Wi-Fi access, a lounge, an elevator, the hotel's restaurant "Mooserwirt," and a bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski room. Parking and an electric car charging station (at an additional cost) are available on site – subject to availability. Children: High chairs are included (on request/subject to availability). Dining: No dining available.

Transfer from Merano train station to the hotel:

  1. By bus: Take bus line 240 ( Südtirolmobil company) from Merano towards Moos/Pfelders. The journey takes approximately 50 to 55 minutes and costs around €5 per ticket. Get off at the "Moos, Dorf" stop, which is less than a 2-minute walk from the hostel.
  2. By taxi: Allow approximately 30 minutes for the journey at a cost between €60 and €80.

Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 10 to 10.5 hours by car, ~900 km): Take the route via Switzerland (A1/A3 then A13) or Austria towards Italy. Reach Bolzano, take the MEBO expressway to the Merano Süd exit, then follow the SS44 road (Val Passiria / Passeiertal) towards St. Leonhard and then Moos in Passeier. (Note: In summer, the Timmelsjoch / Passo del Rombo pass allows access from Austria/Innsbruck, but it is a toll road and closed in winter) .
  2. From Bolzano (approximately 50 minutes, 55 km): Take the MEBO highway to Merano, then the SS44 road up the Passeier valley to Moos.
  3. From Merano (approximately 30 minutes, 28 km): Follow the SS44 through the Val Passiria directly to the center of Moos in Passeier.
