Location: The comfortable 4-star Hotel Villa Kastelruth is located approximately 220 meters from the center of Castelrotto, at an altitude of approximately 1,060 meters. Access to the ski area is possible via the "Cabinovia Alpe die Siusi" ski lift, located approximately 4 km away, or via the "Ortisei/Seceda" ski lift, located approximately 12 km away. The cross-country ski trail network is approximately 9 km away. Guests can also enjoy the toboggan run, located approximately 9 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop approximately 150 meters away. Chiusa train station is approximately 16 km away. A shuttle bus provides service to the ski lift. Amenities: The hotel is situated in a quiet location and features a reception area, Wi-Fi access, a lounge, an elevator, a restaurant, and a bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room with boot dryers. Parking and covered parking (at an extra cost) are available on site – subject to availability. Wellness: In the wellness area, you will find a panoramic sauna. You can also relax in the relaxation room and refresh yourself in the tea room. Outdoors, a heated outdoor pool of approximately 70 m², a bio sauna cabin, and a jacuzzi are available for guests. Bathrobes, bath slippers, and sauna towels are available for rent on site. Children: Cots are available at an extra cost (on request/subject to availability). Entertainment: Courses such as snowshoeing (at an extra cost) and ski touring (at an extra cost) are also offered at regular intervals. Dining: Meals booked with the Half Board PLUS meal plan include a welcome drink and a buffet breakfast. Afternoon lunch (3:30 pm - 5:30 pm) includes a variety of snacks. In the evening, you can choose from a four-course menu with a salad bar. A Christmas menu is served on December 25th, and a New Year's menu is offered on December 31st.

  1. By local bus (Südtirolmobil): From Waidbruck or Bolzano train stations, bus line 170 goes directly to Kastelruth bus station. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes from Waidbruck and 40 minutes from Bolzano (expect to pay between €2 and €4 per person). Note: Many local accommodations provide the South Tyrol Guest Pass free of charge upon arrival, allowing free use of regional buses.
  2. By taxi: Allow approximately 15 minutes journey time from Waidbruck station (between €30 and €45) and approximately 25 to 30 minutes from Bolzano station (between €60 and €75).
