The Le Chamois Blanc residence, built in the Savoyard style, is located in the southern part of Chamonix in a pedestrian zone, approximately 1 km from the Plan Praz gondola lift. With the Mont Blanc Unlimited lift pass extension, you can access the ski area, which is about 100 m above the Aiguille du Midi gondola. The town center, with its shops, bars, and restaurants, is just a few minutes away. The residence has a reception. The comfortable and mostly renovated apartments all feature a living/sleeping area with a TV, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. Some apartments have a balcony or terrace. Meals are not included.

Access by train
Take the train toGare de Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Travel from Paris : Take a TGV from Paris Gare de Lyon to Bellegarde-sur-Valserine or Saint-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet, then connect to the regional "Mont-Blanc Express" train which runs directly to the valley. The total journey time is approximately 5 hours 30 minutes to 6 hours 30 minutes.

Connections from the train station to the accommodation :

  1. On foot or by city bus : The train station is located right in the town center. The valley's bus network (Chamonix Mobilité) makes getting around very easy. Bus and train travel (via the Mont-Blanc Express) is completely free throughout the valley from Servoz to Vallorcine if you have the "Guest Card," which will be given to you free of charge by your accommodation provider upon arrival.
  2. By taxi : If your accommodation is out of the way, local taxis will take you there in a few minutes for a fare usually between €10 and €25 depending on the exact location.


Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available

By car:

  1. From Paris (approximately 5 hours 45 minutes drive) : Take the A6 motorway then the A40 (Autoroute Blanche) towards Geneva / Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Follow the A40 to its end to arrive directly at Les Houches and then Chamonix.
  2. From Geneva (approximately 1 hour drive) : Follow the A40 motorway towards Chamonix-Mont-Blanc to reach the resort.
Good to know (Free parking): Parking in Chamonix town center is mostly paid. However, the Biollay car park (located near the Montenvers train station and the Planards ski area) is a completely free outdoor car park year-round . Note: The major car parks in the center (such as Grépon, Saint-Michel, or Mont-Blanc) only offer the first hour of parking for free.
