The "Stubnerkogelbahn" ski lift, located 3.3 km away, provides access to the ski area. The "Felsentherme Bad Gastein" thermal baths, situated approximately 3 km away, offer a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. To reach Böckstein (located approximately 5 km south of Bad Gastein train station) or your accommodation:

  1. By local bus: Take the regional Postbus / Salzburg Verkehr line (Line 550) directly from the train station. The journey to Böckstein takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes (tickets cost approximately €2.50 to €3.50, often free if your accommodation provides the Gastein Card guest card).
  2. By taxi: Taxis are available outside Bad Gastein train station. The journey to Böckstein takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes and costs between €15 and €25 depending on the amount of luggage.
  3. On foot: Allow approximately 1 hour of walking (not recommended with luggage).
