Location: The "Haus Almrausch" accommodation is a cozy residence located approximately 100 meters from the center of Bichlbach. The center of Bergwang is approximately 4.7 km away. The ski area is accessible via the ski lift located 200 meters away. The nearby network of trails allows for cross-country skiing. Ski buses stop approximately 100 meters from the apartment complex. The nearest shops are approximately 250 meters away, and the nearest cafes and restaurants are approximately 100 meters away. Amenities: The comfortably furnished accommodation includes Wi-Fi access. You can store your ski equipment in the ski room. On-site parking and an electric car charging station are also available (at an additional cost) – subject to availability. Wellness: The wellness area (at an additional cost) features an outdoor sauna. Bathrobes are available on-site (at an additional cost).   1. Innsbruck Airport (INN, approximately 75 km away): the closest airport in Austria (approximately 1 hour transfer). Served from Paris (CDG/ORY) by Austrian Airlines , Lufthansa (with a stopover), and by Transavia France (direct seasonal flights).
  2. Memmingen/Allgäu Airport (FMM, Germany, approximately 85 km away): located about a 1-hour drive away. Served from France, notably by Ryanair .


Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 8 hours by car, ~770 km): take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg, cross southern Germany via the A8 (Stuttgart/Ulm), then the A7 to Füssen. Cross the Austrian border via the B179 (Fernpassstraße) to Bichlbach. (Note: access from Germany via Füssen on the B179 does not require an Austrian motorway vignette as long as you do not use any motorways in Austria).
  2. From Munich (approximately 1 hour 25 minutes drive, ~120 km): take the A95 motorway to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then continue on the B23 / B187 via Lermoos to Bichlbach.
  3. From Innsbruck (approximately 1 hour drive, ~75 km): take the B171 or the A12, then follow the B189 and the B179 (Fernpassstraße) towards Reutte until Bichlbach.
