When and how do you insure your trip?

Are you joining a group and booking your trip online? You can now take out our comprehensive travel insurance. It will be offered to you during step 2 of your booking process, after selecting your departure dates.

If you book a trip via the quote request option or are going on a self-guided solo trip, our insurance will not be offered to you for now. However, our local partner will be able to offer you their insurance.

How much does the insurance cost?

The cost of the insurance depends on the sports trip you book. It amounts to 5.90% of the price of the selected trip.

What is covered?

You can view the insurance coverage and assistance services provided by the insurance contract offered by Decathlon Travel via this link, as well as the general terms and conditions of sale via this link.

If you wish to insure multiple travelers, you will need to enter the last name, first name, and date of birth of everyone involved during the "contact details" step, after selecting the insurance. This information will be sent directly to the insurer.

How do I know if my insurance is confirmed?

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email at the address provided during your purchase from "Allianz Travel", sent from the following address: [email protected].

The email will include a specific number for Allianz, our insurance partner, which is different from the booking number we assign to you.

The confirmation email sent by Allianz Travel will list the personal information of each traveler for whom you purchased insurance.
