Departing from Granville , in the heart of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel , embark on a weekend adventure at sea aboard a 12-14 meter sailboat , accompanied by a professional skipper . Depending on the weather and the strongest tides in Europe , you'll set sail for Jersey , an Anglo-Norman jewel with a distinctly British elegance.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor , you will participate in the maneuvers: hoisting the sails , steering , reading paper and electronic charts , and managing drift caused by wind and current . This active cruise will also introduce you to the use of onboard instruments ( VHF, GPS ), maritime safety rules , coastal navigation markers , and marine environment observation .

No particular level of experience is required to participate in this trip. Even if you have never been on a boat before, don't worry, the professional crew is there to manage and guide you during maneuvers.
We are a crew and are here to help each other if one of us reaches their limits. However, we are on sailboats, subject to the movements of the sea and sometimes to heeling. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to move around on board despite pitching or rolling, and embarking and disembarking can sometimes require a bit of flexibility and ease.

Meet in Granville between 7am and 1pm , depending on the tide . For added comfort, you can board the evening before and spend the night on board.
After provisioning, which we have prepared, and the safety briefing , you will cast off for a 4 to 8 hour sailing trip . Depending on the weather conditions, you will set sail for Saint Helier in Jersey, Saint-Cast-le-Guildo , or Saint-Malo .
This first day at sea allows you to get your bearings on board , familiarize yourself with the sailboat, and settle into the cruising rhythm. Once you arrive in port or at anchor , you'll have some free time to explore before a briefing to prepare for the next day's sailing .

For this last day, we're heading to Granville with, weather and tide permitting, a special stopover in the Chausey archipelago , a wild jewel with crystal-clear waters.
Back in port, the crew works together to tidy up and clean the sailboat , in a spirit of sharing and respect for the equipment .
The dispersal is scheduled between 2pm and 5pm , marking the end of a marine interlude rich in discoveries.

This program is provided for informational purposes only. The skipper reserves the right to modify the route and/or the duration of the course according to weather and safety requirements.
Since October 2021, a valid passport from a European Union country or Switzerland is required to travel to the United Kingdom and the Channel Islands. Identity cards and residence permits are no longer accepted.
We will handle the customs procedures, but for this you must provide us with a copy of your passports by email ( jpg or pdf format, no larger than 800KB) and an electronic visa (ETA), which is mandatory for travel to the United Kingdom (£16, valid for 2 years). You will not be able to board without these documents and no refund will be issued.

We own 3 sailboats ranging from 12.6 to 14m in length, all seaworthy and comfortable :
- Hanois: Dufour 45 classic, 5 cabins
- Etachon: Gib'sea 442, 4 cabins
- Jethou: Gib'sea 126, 4 cabins
All sailboats are equipped with pressurized water, hot water tank, marine toilet, fitted kitchen (gas stove and gas oven, electric fridge), battery charger and 220v circuit (only when docked), car radio, sprayhood, electric windlass and dinghy with outboard motor.

The return to Granville is scheduled for the last day of the course, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM , depending on the tide . The exact time will be provided after booking. Disembarkation takes place once the sailboat has been thoroughly cleaned by the crew: deck rinsed , galley tidied , interior swept . This is a way to conclude the stay in a spirit of camaraderie , true to life on board.
You have the option of sleeping on the boat the night before (included in the price, only your meal is at your own expense and must be eaten outside).
An additional fee of €70 per person is payable on site to the skipper.
This includes provisioning managed by us, marina berth, fuel, etc.
