In a few words

This wild trek in Khentii plunges you into the heart of one of Mongolia's most pristine regions, far from any modern infrastructure. Here, raw nature dictates its rhythm: endless steppe , boreal forests , crystal-clear rivers , and isolated mountains create a landscape of rare intensity.

Designed for travelers seeking total immersion , this adventure is for those who embrace living outdoors. With no roads or hotels, the journey is made on horseback , through hidden valleys and territories shaped by nomadic life. This trip is led by Akhnbayar, a young French-Mongolian guide currently training in equestrian tourism. It's rare to find a French-speaking Mongolian equestrian guide in Mongolia, so having him is a real privilege. We ask participants to be kind and supportive towards him: he will be providing translations and guidance, under the watchful eye of the other experienced guides.

Management

Security

The safety of participants is a top priority on all our horseback riding trips. Each trip is carefully planned to ensure optimal conditions for supervision, itinerary, and logistics.

Our lead guide has specific training in equestrian guidance and knows the proper techniques to prevent fatigue or incidents. He is attentive to everyone's pace, including beginner riders.

The Mongolian horses used are:

  1. Robust, calm and well-trained, used to long hikes;
  2. Selected according to your level (beginner or advanced);
  3. They were monitored and cared for by our guides with great respect.

The routes were scouted in advance, tested each season, and adapted to the weather conditions and the composition of the group.

In case of unforeseen events (weather, rider fatigue, minor injury), the local team adapts immediately: flexibility and responsiveness are part of our expertise.
