An early start to put yesterday's skills into practice on a relatively easy summit: either the Pic du Glacier Blanc (3,527 m) or the Pic du Glacier d'Arsine (3,364 m), depending on conditions. The ascent serves to apply the techniques learned in ice climbing school: roped progression, cramponing, and managing simple belay stations.

The rope team returns to the Glacier Blanc refuge for a hot meal and a final evening in the mountains.
