The charming 3-star Gasthof Hotel Post is located in the center of Sautens (approx. 100 m) and approximately 3 km from the Hochötz ski area. The free ski bus is about 150 m from the property. The nearest cross-country ski trail is approximately 2 km away. This lovingly run hotel offers a reception, Wi-Fi access, a breakfast room, a restaurant, a hotel bar, a café, a children's playroom, a terrace, and a ski and boot storage room with boot dryers. Free parking is available, subject to availability. Guests have free access to the wellness area, which includes a steam room, sauna, sensory shower, and relaxation room with lounge chairs (opening hours are posted on site). From January 9th to 23rd, 2027, and from March 13th to 20th, 2027, the Happy Family Weeks (offered by the Ötztal Tourist Board) take place. With a minimum stay of 7 nights (valid for those born in 2019 or earlier), children aged 4 and over receive a free 5-day ski course, and all children aged 2 to 4 receive free 5 days of childcare (children must be diaper-free, must have a valid ski pass, and midday care is available for a fee; registration is on-site and can be done through any Widi's Kids Club ski school). All details of these services are subject to change, and exact conditions should be obtained from the TVB (Tourcoing Tourist Board) on-site. This offer is only valid if the entire travel period falls within the promotional period. Meals: Half-board, included in the trip price, consists of a welcome drink, a buffet breakfast, and a choice of three-course dinner with a daily salad buffet in the evening. A children's menu is available for younger guests, and special dietetic meals can be prepared upon request. On December 24th and 25th, a special Christmas menu will be served, and for New Year's Eve, you can enjoy a five-course dinner with a New Year's Eve celebration, fireworks, and a midnight snack.

The nearest train station is Ötztal-Bahnhof (located just 4 km from Sautens).

  1. From Paris: Take a TGV Lyria / ICE to Zurich or Munich, then an ÖBB/Railjet train to Ötztal station (allow approximately 7h30 to 8h30 total journey time).

  5. On foot: For travelers with little luggage, the village is about a 45-50 minute walk (about 4 km) from the train station.
