The family-run, 3-star Andrelwirt Inn is located in a quiet area approximately 4 km from the center of Rauris and the ski lift. This traditional accommodation features a reception area, Wi-Fi access, a lounge, a children's playground, a breakfast room, a restaurant, and ski and boot storage. Free parking is also available (subject to availability). The inn's sauna can be used free of charge once per person paying the full rate per stay; any additional use is possible for a fee (reservation required). The comfortably furnished rooms have a shower or bathtub and toilet, a TV, Wi-Fi access, and some have a balcony or terrace. Meals: The half-board PLUS option included in the trip price consists of a buffet breakfast, afternoon tea (4-5 pm), and a choice of three courses in the evening, including two drinks per day (0.3 liters of beer, excluding wheat beer, 1/8 liter of table wine, or 0.25 liters of soft drink). A children's menu can be prepared upon request.

Getting to the accommodation from Taxenbach-Rauris train station:

  1. By local bus (Line 640 - Salzburg Verkehr / Postbus): direct connections link the train station to the center of Rauris and the ski lifts ( Rauriser Hochalmbahn , located a short walk from the residence). The journey takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes and costs around €3.50 to €4 per ticket (the journey is free in winter with a valid ski pass or, under certain conditions, with the local guest card).
  2. By local taxi: local taxis (such as Taxi Brunner , Taxi Vesna or Plössnig Reisen ) make the connection in about 15 minutes, for an average cost of €30 to €45.

  1. From Paris (approximately 10 to 10.5 hours by car - approx. 980 km): Take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg, then cross the border to join the German A8 via Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, and Munich. After Munich, continue on the A8 towards Salzburg until the Siegsdorf/Traunstein exit, then take the B306 and B312 (towards Inzell/Lofer) and the B311 (towards Zell am See/Taxenbach). In Taxenbach, turn onto the L112 valley road (Rauriser Landesstraße) to Rauris.
  2. From Salzburg (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes drive - approx. 90 km): take the A10 motorway (Tauern Autobahn) south to the Bischofshofen / Pongau exit, then follow the federal road B311 (via Sankt Johann im Pongau and Schwarzach) to Taxenbach, before taking the L112 towards Rauris.
  3. From Munich (approximately 2h30 to 2h45 drive - approx. 195 km): take the A8 motorway towards Salzburg, take the Siegsdorf / Traunstein exit, then reach Rauris via Lofer, Saalfelden, Zell am See (B311) and Taxenbach.
