Location: The 4-star family-run Familienhotel Oberkarteis is located approximately 10.5 km from the center of Großarl, in the Karteis district. The center of Hüttschlag is approximately 2.7 km away. Access to the ski area is possible via the "Panoramabahn Großarltal" ski lift, located approximately 11.3 km away. Ski buses stop right next to the hotel. Amenities: The comfortable accommodation consists of a main building and an annex. Hotel facilities include a reception area, a seating area, Wi-Fi, a lounge, a sitting room, an elevator, a breakfast room, a restaurant, a breakfast room, and a bar. Guests can store their winter sports equipment in a heated, lockable ski/snowboard room with boot dryers. Parking and an electric vehicle charging station (at an additional cost) are available on site – subject to availability. Wellness: In the approximately 200 m² wellness area (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM), you will find a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, and a steam room. You can also relax in the relaxation room. Inside your accommodation, you will find an approximately 40 m² indoor swimming pool with a baby pool and a water slide (7:00 AM - 9:30 PM). Beauty treatments and massages are available at an additional cost. A bathrobe and sauna towels are available for rent on site. Opening hours/validity periods are subject to change. Children: The approximately 250 m² children's play area offers age-appropriate entertainment for younger guests, even in bad weather. There are books, games, a craft area, and a football pitch, as well as bobsleds and a soft play area. In addition, there is a children's playground. Six times a week, the hotel also offers childcare for children aged 0 to 17 (Mon-Fri and Sun, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, approximately 10 hours per day) – subject to changes and restrictions regarding services and availability; see on-site for details. Baby monitors are available for an extra charge, and high chairs and cots are included (upon request/subject to availability). Changing mats and baby baths are also available. Opening hours and offer periods are subject to change. For leisure, a foosball table is available on-site. In addition, the hotel offers a wide range of sports activities, including a fitness room, horseback riding, and table tennis. During your stay, you can rent skis (at an extra cost) and sleds – subject to availability. Dining: When booking rooms with the All Inclusive Light meal plan, meals include a hot and cold buffet breakfast (7:30 am - 10:00 am) featuring produce from our own farm. A snack is available at midday (12:30 pm - 1:30 pm). Afternoon meals include a selection of hot and cold dishes, including soup and salad. In the evening (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm), you can choose from a four-course menu with a salad bar, cheese specialties, and a dessert buffet. A children's menu is available for dinner. In addition, a station with baby food such as Hipp jars is available. Soft drinks like fruit juices are included.
