Location: The "Almhütte Gipper" is a cozy chalet in a quiet location in the center of Hohe Tauern National Park, at approximately 1,700 meters above sea level. The center of Heiligenblut is about 4.5 km away. The ski area is accessible via the "Rossbach" ski lift, also 4.5 km away. Amenities: The accommodation includes Wi-Fi access. You can store your ski equipment in the ski/snowboard room with boot dryers. On-site parking is also available, subject to availability. Children: High chairs and cots are available upon request and subject to availability. Meals: No meals are provided.

By public bus (Postbus): From Mallnitz-Obervellach train station, take the local bus to Obervellach Seilbahnplatz, then the connecting bus (line 5108) to Heiligenblut (total journey time: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes). From Lienz train station, the Postbus line goes directly to Heiligenblut (approximately 50 minutes journey time).
  4. By taxi / shuttle: Transfer/taxi or station shuttle services (Bahnhofshuttle Kärnten) connect the stations to Heiligenblut (expect to pay between €60 and €110 depending on the station and type of vehicle).
