Location: Haus Taurer is a rustic guesthouse located in a quiet area approximately 2.1 km from the center of Döllach. The ski area is accessible via the Schareck Heiligenblut ski lift, 12 km away. Ski buses stop approximately 550 m from the guesthouse. Amenities: The accommodation includes Wi-Fi, a lounge with a TV, and a shared kitchen (at an extra cost). You can store your ski equipment in the ski/snowboard room with boot dryers. On-site parking is also available – subject to availability. From Lienz train station, you can:

  1. By bus: take regional line 5108 (Kärnten Bus / ÖBB Postbus) to the Großkirchheim Sagritz or Döllach B107 stop (approximately 35 to 40 minutes journey, expect to pay between €6 and €10 per ticket), then continue 5 to 10 minutes on foot to the accommodation.
  2. By taxi: allow approximately 30 minutes for the journey (between €60 and €80 depending on the service).

  3. Innsbruck Airport (INN) (approximately 180 km / 2h30 drive): Served by Transavia, Austrian Airlines and Air France (seasonal connections).
Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 10.5 to 11 hours drive / ~1,000 km): Take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg, then continue into Germany via the A8 towards Munich. Continue into Austria via the Felbertauern road (or via the A10 from Salzburg) to join the B107 (Mölltalstraße) to Großkirchheim/Sagritz. (Note: the Austrian motorway vignette and the Felbertauern tunnel toll or the Mallnitz rail freight service may be required depending on the chosen route).
  2. From Salzburg (approx. 2h15 to 2h30 / ~160 km): Take the A10 motorway (Tauern Autobahn) then the B106/B107 in the Mölltal valley (or use the Autoschleuse Tauernbahn car shuttle between Böckstein and Mallnitz).
  3. From Lienz (approximately 30 minutes / ~30 km): Take the B107 north towards Heiligenblut until you reach the hamlet of Sagritz in Großkirchheim.
