Location: "Haus Arve" is a cozy chalet located in the center of Döllach. The ski area is accessible via the "Schareck Heiligenblut" ski lift, 10 km away. Ski buses stop approximately 200 m from the chalet. The nearest shops are about 450 m away. Amenities: The accommodation includes Wi-Fi access. You can store your ski equipment in the ski/snowboard room. On-site parking is also available – subject to availability. Children: Cots are available upon request and subject to availability. Meals: No meals are provided.

From Lienz train station, you can reach Großkirchheim:

  1. By bus: take the regional bus line (Postbus) towards Heiligenblut to the Döllach in Kärnten Ort stop (approximately 35 to 40 minutes journey, ticket at approximately €6 to €8).
  2. By taxi: allow approximately 25 minutes for the journey (between €50 and €70 depending on the provider).

Another important station served by long-distance trains (EuroCity/InterCity) is Mallnitz-Obervellach station (approximately 40 km away). A taxi ride from this station takes about 40 minutes (between €80 and €100) or requires a bus connection via Winklern.

  1. From Paris (approximately 10.5 hours by car, ~1,050 km): take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg/Germany, then cross southern Germany via the A8 (passing through Munich) to reach Austria via the B107 (Mölltal Straße). Note: a motorway vignette is required to drive on Austrian motorways.
  2. From Munich (approximately 3 hours 15 minutes drive, ~250 km): take the A8 towards Salzburg/Innsbruck, then follow the B107 road to the village of Döllach / Großkirchheim.
  3. From Lienz (approximately 25 minutes drive, ~25 km): follow the B107 north (towards Heiligenblut) to Großkirchheim.
