Location: The "Haus Lainer" accommodation is a cozy residence located approximately 12 km from the center of St. Johann im Pongau. The ski area is accessible via the "Alpendorf" ski lift, also 12 km away. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails approximately 200 m away. Ski buses stop approximately 200 m from the apartment complex. The nearest shops are approximately 3 km away. Amenities: The accommodation includes Wi-Fi access. On-site parking is available, subject to availability. Children: High chairs and cots are available (at an extra cost, upon request and subject to availability). Meals: No meals are provided.

From Schwarzach-St. Veit train station, you can reach the accommodation:

  1. By bus : Take bus line 580 (SVV network) towards Goldegg/Böndlsee. Get off at the Goldegg Volksschule or Goldegg Dorf stop (located approximately 150 meters from Haus Lainer). Journey time: approximately 15 minutes. Fare: approximately €3 to €5 per person.
  2. By taxi : Allow approximately 10 minutes for the journey (between €15 and €25).

Travel to the place of stay with parking available

From Paris (approximately 9.5 to 10 hours drive, ~950 km): Take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg, cross Germany via the A8 (Stuttgart/Munich), then enter Austria via the A10 (Tauern Autobahn) towards Villach. Take the Knoten Pongau/Bischofshofen exit, follow the B311 road to Schwarzach im Pongau, then take the L214 (Goldegger Landesstraße) up to Goldegg. (Note: A motorway vignette is required to drive on Austrian motorways).

From Salzburg (approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour drive, ~70 km): Take the A10 motorway (Tauern Autobahn) south, take the Knoten Pongau / Bischofshofen exit on the B311 to Schwarzach im Pongau, then follow the L214 to Goldegg.

Parking : Haus Lainer offers free on-site parking for its guests (subject to availability). Public parking spaces are also available in the village near the castle (Schloss Goldegg) and the lake (Goldegger See).
