Location: The "National" is a comfortable, superior 3-star hotel in a quiet location in the center of Davos Platz. The ski area is accessible via the "Schatzalpbahn" ski lift, located 350 meters away. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails approximately 200 meters away. Ski buses stop about 300 meters from the hotel. Davos Platz train station is about 400 meters away. A shuttle bus serves the ski lift. A shuttle bus to Jakobshorn is also available. The nearest shops are about 300 meters away, and the nearest cafes and restaurants are about 230 meters away. Amenities: The hotel features a reception area, a lobby, Wi-Fi access, a lounge, an elevator, a breakfast room, the "Bistro National" restaurant with its own bar, and a rooftop terrace. You can store your ski equipment in the ski/snowboard room with boot dryers. On-site, there is also covered parking (extra charge) and an electric vehicle charging station (extra charge) – subject to availability. Wellness: The wellness area invites you to relax. Here you will find a Finnish sauna, a jacuzzi, a steam room, and a sensory shower. You can also relax in the relaxation room. Massages are available for an extra charge. Take a train (SBB or TGV Lyria from France) to Landquart, then change trains with the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) to Davos Platz station (sector 7270).

  1. From Paris : allow approximately 6 to 6.5 hours of travel time with a TGV Lyria to Basel or Zurich, then an SBB train to Landquart and finally the RhB regional train to Davos Platz.
  2. From the train station to the accommodation :
  3. On foot : depending on the location of your accommodation in the Davos Platz area, allow 5 to 15 minutes walk from the station.
  4. By local bus (VBD) : city buses depart directly from the station forecourt. The guest card issued by your accommodation provider allows you to use the buses for free within the valley.
  5. By taxi : local taxis are based at the station (expect to pay between 15 and 25 CHF for a ride in the Davos Platz area).
