Nestled 350 meters from the center of Arosa , the 4-star Altein (Faern Collection Resort) offers a modern base from which to explore the ski area . The slopes are easily accessible 500 meters away via the Tschuggen-Ost chairlift or 600 meters away via the Arosa Weisshorn gondola, with the ski bus stop just 80 meters away.

Dedicated to post-exercise recovery, the residence features a 950 m² wellness area with an indoor pool , sauna , hammam , and infrared cabin. Massages and treatments are also available for an additional fee.

A ski room with boot dryers is available for storing your equipment. The "Zus" brasserie, a welcoming bar, a car park with an electric charging station , and a games room equipped with a pool table, ping-pong table and video game consoles complete the facilities.

Location: The Altein, a modern 4-star hotel belonging to the Faern Collection Resort chain (formerly the Hotel Faern Arosa Altein), is located approximately 350 meters from the center of Arosa. Access to the ski area is via the Tschuggen-Ost chairlift, located approximately 500 meters away, or the Arosa Weisshorn gondola lift, located approximately 600 meters away. Ski shuttles stop approximately 80 meters from the hotel. Amenities: This comfortable hotel offers Wi-Fi access, an elevator, the "Zus Brasserie" restaurant, and a bar. Ski/snowboard equipment can be stored in a dedicated room equipped with a boot dryer. On-site parking (extra charge), covered parking (extra charge), and an electric vehicle charging station (extra charge) are available – subject to availability. Wellness: The approximately 950 m² wellness area, featuring an indoor pool, invites you to relax. It also includes a sauna, a steam room, and an infrared cabin. You can also unwind in the relaxation room. Beauty treatments and massages are available for an additional fee. Children: For younger guests, a playroom and weekly movie nights are organized to keep them entertained even in bad weather. Cots are available upon request/subject to availability. Take a train (SBB or TGV Lyria from France) to Chur station, then take the Rhaetian Railways red line (RhB - Arosabahn) to the Arosa terminus.

  1. From Paris : allow approximately 6 hours 15 minutes to 6 hours 45 minutes of travel with a TGV Lyria to Basel or Zurich, a SBB train to Chur, then the RhB train to Arosa (approximately 1 hour of scenic ascent, allow approximately CHF 14.50 one way for the Chur-Arosa section at full fare).
  2. From the station to the accommodation : Arosa station is located on the shores of Lake Obersee, in the heart of the village.
  3. On foot : many accommodations in the city centre can be reached in 5 to 15 minutes on foot.
  4. By local bus (Arosa Bus) : Local bus routes serve the entire resort. During the winter and summer seasons, local bus transport is often free or included with the guest card (Arosa Card).
  5. By taxi : taxis are available at the station for your luggage (expect to pay between 15 and 25 CHF depending on the destination within the station).
